Georgie Eats My Books

Georgie Goes To The Vet
We took Georgie to the dog park the other day and when a Rottweiler decided it wanted to mate with her, we figured it was time for a visit to the vet.
When we got there she was spry! And happy to see us!
That didn't last long.
Georgie actually fell asleep with her head out the window so we made her lay down in the back seat with me.
She dozed with her eyes slightly ajar.
When we got home we fed her and gave her some pills (to make her more sleepy!) and it was glorious. She was happy!
That also didn't last long. She sat in her crate for about 10 minutes like this. I told her it was bad for her back to slouch, but who can argue with a drugged dog?
She finally gave in and went to sleep. The Husband had to carry her upstairs to her bed like a child. My heart melts, Husband!
The next day Georgie was feeling MUCH better. Though still a little groggy at times.
